Update: You can do the same thing if you buy Staples gift cards now. They are available for 8% off from Gift Card Mart and you will earn 2% cashback from your credit card. It's not as good as 15% off, but it is pretty decent. HT - GGupta
You can only use 5 gift cards at time so you might need to order one at time. I would personally probably not order more than 2 due to Staples possibly banning due to excessive apple purchases.
Lately there have been a few Staples 15% off gift cards sales on eBay which are no longer going. Now is a decent time to start thinking about using them on iPads at Staples which are 15% off. You won't make much if you don't have the gift cards but you will be sitting pretty with them.
Here are few examples:
iPad Air 2 16GB - $75 off - $424 before tax
iPad Air 2 64GB - $90 off - $509 before tax
16Gb Space Gray sells for about $445, though I sold a couple yesterday for $455 in less than an hour ;). Fees are about $30 with shipping, If you assume tax is roughly equal to Staples rewards, you are left about 15% profit from your gift cards and 5% profit from Upromise Shopping Portal. Though your profit is less if you sell at $445
64GB space gray sells for about $540 on Amazon. Fees are about $35 with shipping. If you assume tax is roughly equal to Staples rewards, you are left about 15% profit from your gift cards and 5% profit from Upromise Shopping Portal.
Hopefully you also got eBay Bucks, portal payout and credit card points for the buying the gift cards.
I would probably go the route of the 64GB version, but it's your call.
This is a nice way to liberate your gift cards and it will sell quickly. I wouldn't recommend it without the discounted gift cards.
