About 2 weeks ago I posted a possible reselling Dell using an American Express offers for you of $100 off a $600 purchase at Dell along with some Dell TV's that have large ePromo gift cards.
Since then, a few things things have happened, all positive, that make this deal even better.
1. I bought two of the same TVs. Each one comes with a $125 Dell ePromo gift. I wasn't sure if I would be sent 1 ePromo gift card or 2 ePromo gift cards. This is my ignorance as I've never bought from Dell before. I am happy to say that I received 2 ePromo gift cards. Unfortunately they cannot be combined into one order so you need to new orders to use use both of them. They need to be used within 90 days
2. I earned a $30 ePromo gift card through Dell Advantage. That's Dell's loyalty program. It's an extra 5%, so that's nice. This also needs to be used within 90 days and cannot be combined with another promo gift card
3. I've already sold the tablet and one TV. Just waiting for someone to buy the second TV. Assuming the second TV sells for the same price I will have lost $9 on the sale price inclusive of all fees, but still gained $280 in Dell ePromo Gift Cards and $5 in credit card rewards. That's a lot of money assuming you get full value out of the gift cards, or at least close to it.
4. Discover Deals 10% came through with a confirmation email. That's $59 now (assuming it posts - no reason to believe it won't) and $59 later.
Please keep in mind that if you rinse and repeat, at some point Dell declares you a reseller and doesn't issue you a new ePromo gift card.
If you don't have a Discover card, please consider signing up from my referral link so that you can take advantage of the next deal with Discover. We will each get $50 (after your first purchase) which will be doubled after 13 months
If you are afraid of a clawback from Discover Deals, you can use Be Frugal which will earn you 5.5% cashback, that's about $32.
Also, Dell allows you to use multiple credit cards so you could put $600 on your AmEx and the rest on Discover.
