Best Buy is having a "Tech Tuesday" sale and they have some nice prices on a few different items. Just go right to the home page and you will see the add. If you are interested move fast because many are already sold out.
One item that caught my eye, the iPad mini 2 16GB which is on sale for $229 +tax. Normally $200. Space Gray is already sold out. Max 2 per person.
I paid $492.18 for 2 of them with tax or $246.09 for each.
They are selling for ~$290 right now on Amazon. The fees will be about $25.
The reason to do this would be to hit a minimum spending threshold, earn 2% back in Best Buy Rewards (not terribly valuable to me) and because Discover Deals is offering 5% cashback right now at Best Buy. That 5% will turn into 10% after your 13th statement if you are enrolled in Discover Deals. That's an extra $23 per iPad after 13 statement cycles.
