You can also buy a $50 coupon from eBay for $5. I've never done that before so I can't be sure it works, but I don't see why not. The coupon will be delivered in 2 days so it probably won't help for this deal, but it is something to keep in mind for the future.

If you got a targeted offer for 3x miles at computers and electronics stores from Citi (like I did), now is a good time to use it. Keep in mind that you can only get 3x on up to $1,250 of spending. I don't recommend buying expense items like these with gift cards since you lose a lot of protection if you don't use a credit card. American Express and Visa signature will also add an extra year to your warrantee for free.
