Citi ThankYou Premier Credit Card - $475 of Gift cards

Sign up for the Citi ThankYou Premier Credit Card between now and June 14th and there is a special sign up bonus.

The Sign up Bonus

If you spend $2,000 in the first 3 months of owning the card, you will get 30,000 ThankYou points ($300 in Gift Cards).  If you spend another $2,000 in the first 3 months of your second year of owning the card, you will another 30,000 ThankYou points.

Annual Fee

There is no annual fee for the first year, but from the second year on there is a $125 annual fee so that will take away from your bonus.

Between 11.875% and 15% Cashback

If you just keep the card for the first year and then cancel, you will get the equivalent of 15% cashback for the $2,000.  If you keep it for the second year, you will get 8.75% for the second year and 11.875% for the $4,000 combined.  

If you sign up for this card, make sure to cancel the card before the annual fee kicks in on the third year.  You can also try to consolidate your credit line from this card onto another card from citi to not take a hit on your credit score.
