If you are looking for inexpensive glasses Zenni is the place to go. Prices range anywhere from $6-$45. There is a $5 shipping fee (they come from China) but it is the same $5 whether you buy one pair or multiple pairs.
All you need is your prescription.
They have accurate face recognition software to virtually "try on" your glasses. You upload a picture and tell them your interpupillary distance and they will analyze the picture and put the pair of glasses on your picture.
You get what you pay for. They are not as durable as regular glasses. My last pair lasted me 2 years. I usually lose my glasses before it's an issue ;)
